Anza Trail 250

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the historic overland expedition led by Juan Bautista de Anza, SCVHS will be placing two new historical markers in our Valley.

An October 23rd celebration will be held for the Punta de los Llanos, Campsite #16 marker at the Llano Grande trailhead on Quail Crossing Blvd. 

Our de Anza Trail Journey marker, showcasing the expedition’s route through the Valley on their way to the San Xavier Mission, will be dedicated October 26th at the Anza Trail School on Rancho Sahuarita Blvd.
